Shaun Connors
Shaun
Connors is one of the lucky few who have had the opportunity to turn a
life-long interest and hobby into a career. From childhood through his
early working years in a non defence-related section of industry his interest
in military vehicles and logistics developed, and it was the by-chance
commissioning of his first defence-related magazine article in 1991 that
effectively began his transition from hobby to profession. There followed
numerous further articles on military logistic vehicle-based subjects
for a wide variety of international magazines (including a variety of
Jane's titles), national newspapers and contributions to books before
Shaun took up the post of co-editor of Jane's Military Vehicles and Logistics
from Terry Gander in April 2001. As Editor of Jane's Armour and Artillery,
Chris Foss will continue to be responsible for armoured repair vehicles,
armoured recovery vehicles, and mechanised bridges, leaving Shaun to concentrate
on his core interests of transport and logistical support equipment.
In 11 years of industry involvement Shaun, in addition to writing and
professional photography, has also undertaken a number of industry consultations
and gained 'hands-on' experience of a wide variety of in-service and developmental
military vehicles and equipment, manufactured and in-service worldwide.
Christopher Foss
Christopher Foss is the Editor of Jane's Armour and Artillery and Co-editor
of Jane's Armour and Artillery Upgrades, Jane's Land-Based Air Defence

1970, when he began writing for Jane's Weapon Systems. Since 1979 he has

He has written numerous books relating to armoured vehicles and weapons
systems both for Jane's and for other publishers. He has also lectured
